Vinyl Vibes Records has launched a new monthly club night in Cologne focused on Deep House and electronic music. After our premiere last month with Karsten John and Rainer Trüby the next one`s gonna happen on August 10th @ Roxy. Resident Karsten John will dj alongside Cologne fellow Peter Pardeike who (amongst others) allready remixed Henrik Schwarz and has currently been in the studio with Marcus Worgull – release to be expected soon. Curv’s charming 2007 Nu Bossa Version of Adamski’s 80s hit Killer used to be the most succesful and licensed tune in the history of Vinyl Vibes Records. Not only did DJs and listeners love it, it was also compiled on labels like Ministry Of Sound, Sony and many others. Now we get two new remixes by Spanish House master Kiko Navarro and French Tech House Producer St Gilles. Whereas Kiko stays in the vein of the Curv original, giving it an extra punch for club use, St Gilles is taking the track to new borders by transforming it into an equally deep as kicking Berlin Style Tech House tune. The Killer EP is also featuring two brand new Curv originals.

Once again Vinyl Vibes is welcoming the new year with a club night in Cologne. Located in a new venue called Kiez we`ll party on two floors with a great line up of DJs. The first floor, hosted by Vinyl Vibes DJ and mastermind Karsten John, will bring you soulful vibes of rare and original Funk, Soul, Jazz & Latin records from the 60s and 70s. The second floor is hosted by Vinyl Vibes records artist St Gilles delivering a great mix of House, Nu Soul, Disco and Freestyle Beats. He is sharing the decks with internationally renowned DJ and producer Tom Wieland of Les Gammas, Panoptikum and 7 Samurai fame for an eclectic modern style set mixed with Disco goodies from his extraordinary collection. Kick of is 22 h, tickets are just 12.- € and available on the door only, so make sure to show up early. We`re very much looking forward to this night and to welcoming 2011 together with you!
